Chad Tanner
Chad Tanner is a highly experienced professional in the construction and fire safety industry, with over 30 years of expertise in both fields. He has a proven track record working alongside municipal and state agencies to ensure the safety and compliance of commercial and residential projects. His extensive experience includes performing over thousands of plan reviews, conducting fire safety inspections, and analyzing fire protection systems. Additionally, he has led training programs for fire inspectors and collaborated with organizations such as OSU-FST.
Prior to his transition into consulting, Chad served for 25 years in the Sapulpa and Glenpool Fire Departments, where he progressed from Firefighter to Fire Chief. This extensive experience has equipped him with deep knowledge in fire prevention, safety protocols, and emergency response. As an instructor with the Oklahoma State University Fire Service Training (OSUFST), he dedicated time to mentoring and educating the next generation of fire professionals and inspectors.
Along with his technical expertise, Chad has also held leadership roles, most notably serving as President of the Oklahoma Fire Marshal Association, where he advocated for enhanced safety measures and better training practices within the industry.
He holds numerous certifications across a wide range of fire safety disciplines, and his diverse skill set ensures that every project is approached with precision, efficiency, and the highest standards of safety.
